Most Environmental Health & Safety teams are relocating to the new University District Station Building, located above the Sound Transit Link light rail station at NE 45th Street and Brooklyn Avenue NE, in January 2025.
We anticipate providing clinical and in-person services uninterrupted through the end of 2024.
Environmental Health & Safety will no longer occupy space in the David C. Hall Building. Programs and services that will be moving include:
- Administration
- Biological Safety
- Building and Fire Safety
- Employee Health Center
- Environmental Public Health programs (e.g., Food Safety, Pests and Wildlife)
- Laboratory Safety
- Respirator fit testing
- Safety Training
- Workplace health and safety programs (e.g., industrial hygiene, Shop and Makerspace Safety)
The programs and services that are moving will have a new mailing address and box number. Phone numbers and email addresses will not change; our main email and phone number will remain the same. Our new address is:

Environmental Health & Safety will continue to occupy spaces in the Magnuson Health Sciences Complex and the Environmental Safety Office Building. Programs and services that are not moving include Radiation Safety, Diving Safety, Chemical Waste Collection, Stormwater and Wastewater.
The Health Sciences Immunization Program will remain in the David C. Hall Building and will be administered by Husky Health starting January 1, 2025.
