This hands-on refresher course covers the hazards and safety precautions associated with entering or working in permit-required confined spaces. Emphasis will be on hazard assessment, planning, air monitoring, safety equipment, gear and rescue. Students will complete a Confined Space Entry Permit and practice an actual safe entry. Hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest and work shoes are required.  Use as a refresher or as determined by supervisor based on employee skills and competency.
