Intended Audience

This course is recommended for all entering UW graduate students working in laboratories or other research spaces with hazards. Postdoctoral candidates, as well as 499 and 399 research undergraduate students, are also encouraged to join.

Description

This seminar orients new researchers to the UW's safety resources, requirements, procedures, and expectations. The seminar is an opportunity to introduce new graduate students to the established strong culture of safety that will support them in creating a successful graduate career.
