Changes to the UW Radiation Protection Program requirements
The University of Washington's Radiation Safety Committee recently approved a few changes to University requirements that affect research-related RUA permit holders, including the following:
Hazardous Material Spills
A hazardous material spill is an uncontrolled release of a substance that is potentially hazardous to humans, animals and/or the environment. University personnel and students working with hazardous materials should be prepared to respond in case a spill occurs.
